Evans looks OUT but somehow gets up! He's now out on his feet though and Fortuna's follow-up assault has Evans floundering on the canvas, forcing the referee to step in. The initial KD with the left hand was BIG. Caught Evans bang on the chen, a real head-snapping shot.
Does this mean Syllakh will be out earlier? I could do with that, this has been a looooooong day for me.:dead
I like Grisham and think he would be a better replacement for Kenny than Bernardo. Now the coach is a different matter.
Randy Fuentes vs John Montes in a 4 round time filler. I'm wavering here.......... Yeah, Coach's past is just too dodgy. I don't catch the beginning of the show that often so I don't know if Osuna is even that good or not, he did seem inadvertently - at least I hope it was - condescending towards Collins last week though. I agree regarding Grisham, I think he's alright. I think he just needs to get a little more comfortable in the more formal environment that ESPN is, which I'm sure will come in time.
Grachev's crouching stance against Syllakh's more upright one really makes the size disparity look even worse.
Nothing all that notable in the first, Grachev is doing a good job of making hiself an even smaller target for Syllakh, but he's not really getting himself in good positions to throw back. Syllakh took it with those lead lefts that he clipped him with a couple of times on the way in.
Syllakh's just going through the motions really. If he stepped on the gas a bit and had more of a sustained offense he could get Grachev out of there. Why is he using the uppercut so sparingly? Grachev is WIDE open for it with the way he's leaning forward with his guard so wide, yet Syllakh seems content to move around and toss out jabs with a right hand here and there.
