Douglin trying to set him up for a lead right hook from the southpaw stance.

 

Gave the opening round to Martinez.

 

This is a good fight. Martinez landing the more effective punches in a close first round.

 

Martinez seems to be lunging with his right hand a few times. He did it at least once in the first round and again just there.

 

yeah, he looks pretty sloppy in places.

 

Good fight Douglin landing some night shots but there is no real effort to keep it going. Looks to be a bit tired.

 

Gave the second to Douglin, 19-19. He had Martinez stunned momentarily. If Martinez doesn't reign in those lunging rights in the next few rounds Douglin is going to take advantage of it.

 

Douglin having a good round, countering Martinez with straight lefts. Until he gets caught with a big lead right hand and looks slightly buzzed. Martinez stalking him and showing more variety even though the punches look slow and wide. Douglin might not have enought to keep him honest. Martinez round in the second.

 

Gave Douglin the 1st, Martinez the 2nd.

 

Martinez is looking for the home run punch. Settle down and establish the jab kid.

 

I like Douglin in this round, but I still think Martinez is going to get a stoppage before 8 rounds are up. Not enough of Douglin's punches have snap behind him. Martinez is looking sloppier, but over the course of the 3 rounds so far his powers have looked more powerful. Still, gave it to Douglin.

When Douglin actually thinks about what he is throwing he can't miss Martinez. Martinez had a bad lapse in the last round could of got put down, was following to much and got caught square on

 

If Douglin had a bit more about him he could really make Martinez look silly and outbox.

 

Martinez doesn't look so wild with his shots so far in this opening minute, bit of an improvement with some of his attempts than in the last few rounds.
