1. Does Cotto have the stamina to go 12 hardfought rds with Margo pressuring all the way. 2. Is Cotto physically tough enough to go 12 in those instances when he has to slug it out with Margarito? 3. Will the Cotto chin hold up to a few good shots throughout the fight? 4. Will Cotto's power gain Margos respect and keep him at bay? 5. What is the greater edge Margos size or Cottos speed? Margo will come out winging, throwing looping hooks and uppercuts applying nonstop pressure stalking Cotto hitting him on the back of the head, arms, neck where ever there is a target. Sooner or later Cotto will get stung, wether its close or a boxing clinic eventually he will get caught with a good shot. Cotto has to gain Margos respect with his power, or Margo will walk through him for the KO or stoppage. Who will prevail? if its a great fight the boxing fans will ultimately win. The sport need tough matches like this to keep it alive. I am rooting for Cotto, this will be his toughest test. The Margo style presents the greatest challenge, although Margo is not the best fighter Cotto has faced. His combination of height, style and strength pose the greatest threats of anyone Cotto has faced. The reality is Margarito is Cottos first real test. Cotto had to match speed and craft with those others, but could ultimately overpower them. Margo is neither mentally weak or o past prime. Lets see what happens.
I like the questions you posed here. Let's keep this thread bumped near the top so come Sunday morning, we can go question by question how the fight answered them.
