Don't own towels, don't own pens. Clearly they need a better business strategy since clearly declining 3 million fights to take 150 k fight isn't working. Would someone mind sending CEJ 2 towels in case he loses one the same way he lost his only pen?
Pretty disrespectful considering Brook had a serious injury which is what really caused the stoppage. He better pray he never finds himself in such a situation in the ring, because you bet his father won't just stand there and watch his kid get beat, especially after what Eubank Sr experienced during the Watson fight, he knows all too well the risks a boxer takes.
"Brook had no serious injury"... Take time out and watch Eubank Sr. vs Carl Thompson (1) & (2) Eubank Sr. vs Michael Watson (1) & (2) Eubank Sr. vs Nigel Benn (1) You will then realize what the fight game is about.. Kell Brook vs Golovkin - was Robbery of the paying customer!
I'd much rather have them throw in the towel than have Brook keep taking damage to an already broken orbital bone...
I don't think this comment was that bad, but it is kinda disrespectful though. I've heard much worse dishes after worse injuries, just look at how people treated Ortiz after suffering a broken jaw. But after Sr's so called concern over Blackwell during the fight, this is a kinda 180 degree turn.
Why would he be in trouble with the British boxing council? Are they that sensitive about him tweeting post fight? Didn't Brook tweet about Khan just moments after he was knocked out?? Maybe what he said was in poor taste (I personally didn't think so,) but I just don't see how he could get in trouble for something as innocuous as that statement he made on twitter. The good thing about Gennady not looking at his best is it's going to hopefully bring some of these 160 lb fighters out of the woodwork to finally fight him.
I also agree with the Eubanks. If Muhammad Ali and Arthur Abraham can go 12 rounds with a broken jaw (and even convince judges that they've won the fight), Kell Brook can go 12 rounds with a broken orbital bone against a much slower opponent.
His a hater. His pissed that Brook got paid while his defending his british title against a nobody for peanuts.
That mans a tool. He shouldnt be speaking about that fight cuz that was supposed to be him but he and his dads ink ran out and nuts fell off. Biggest thing is Kell Brook is twice the Boxer he is.
Are you serious? I worry about boxing fans like you. You do know this is a sport don't you? Why would you want to see Brook permanently injured which is obviously what would have happened. You say GGG was a much slower opponent as though Brook had all the advantages in there. There's no question that the stoppage was perfectly timed by his corner, I personally would get no pleasure from watching one of our boys taking permanent damage just to satisfy some schlep like you.
It's not really that the injury was bad per se, more that it blinded him. Without that bad luck Kell would've run out a comfortable victor. Probably stopping Golovkin around the 9th.
