Pedroza went out like a Champ against Barry ,full credit to him he was just that bit too far gone.I watched him against Laporte recently Laporte had a serious chin, but I would not have wanted to own his balls the morning after the fight!

Give me some time to clear my desk Russell and I`ll send you some footage of the man, I`ll contact you when I`m ready. As for Pedroza I can`t add much to the disscussion that hasn`t already been said, so I`ll leave it at that save to say that he was a very good fighter who would give damn near anyone at featherweight a hard fight at his best.

He was a really good fighter, but I really never liked his fouling tactics, so I may underrate him for that reason. Like others have said, the Patrick Ford fight was the true indication of his abilities, while the Laporte fight showed a lot of his flaws as a fighter. The Jorge Lujan fight was a good one too, because, Pedroza having lost to Zamora earlier on, gained revenge by beating Lujan who had trounced Zamora.

Eusebio was a damn good fighter, and probably, in all honesty, Salvador avoided him.And he should've have rematched Bernard Taylor, for sure.

Despite his earlier disaster vs Zamora, I think pedroza did indeed become a great fighter...his lengthy and productive title reign backs this up IMO....dirty as hell, but great.

I don't think any of us would have wanted to see a repeat of that track meet. Incredibly negative performance from Taylor.

So much so that he pretty much gave the fight to Pedroza (yeah, it was a draw, but that was about the best that Pedroza could have hoped for fighting in what was essentially the BT Express' backyard.)
