    Soto now snapping Diaz's head back with right hands, while still defending well against Diaz's desperate wide shots. Diaz able to muscle Soto on the ropes but only for a moment, and doesn't land anything big before it's back in the center of the ring. Diaz misses several punches but lands a jab as Soto again has his back to the ropes, and then a left on Soto's chin.

    Overall another Soto round. I haven't found one to give Diaz. Lederman found 2 in the first 6.

    Soto looking a bit weary but not spent. He still moves and keeps out of Diaz's range, but is no longer jumping at every opportunity to counter. Diaz still hopping on his toes and moving forward, but as the HBO team pointed out is breathing out of his mouth. Soto lies in the corner and springs a 1-2 trap on Diaz. Soto not letting Diaz get within a few paces. Diaz reaches out with a right jab, and it rests across Soto's neck as he smothers it, stepping forward and tagging Diaz.

    All Soto, all night.
