Duddy very much the aggressor now, not letting Medina take charge after the big right hand before the bell to end the 7th. Duddy is workmanlike, shrugging off Medina's powerpunches and throwing his own with matter-of-fact conviction regardless of what Medina's doing. His hands just keep moving instinctively the moment Medina gets in their radar. Medina tries to box and jab but is wary of Duddy's combinations.

Round 9

Pacquiao tying his shoe. :blood Um, hello? HBO PPV Technical Director? Please cut back to Camera A (or whoever's on the actual ring with the FIGHT IN PROGRESS).

Duddy swings on his waist landing looping punches with both hands at both altitudes on Medina. Medina stuffs a few jabs in his face. Duddy lands one of his own and comes at Medina with several consecutive power shots; Medina hurt a bit and backs off. Duddy gets right back on him and throws several hooks, none landing flush and not terribly powerful. Medina leaps back, with a landmine of an uppercut waiting for his pursuer. He then turns Duddy in the middle of the ring with a 1-2. Duddy tries to open a firefight and doesn't find his target well, then evades Medina for the rest of the round.

Round 10

Medina is discovering how effective his uppercut can be. Duddy still trying to burst Medina's lip with jabs and right hands. They tie up and push off a few times; both are tired. Medina pressing, Duddy backing up. Duddy jabbing from halfway across the ring. Medina waits for him to retract and marches in with pitty pats. Medina winning this round big. They trade in a phonebooth for the last 5 seconds, and it's amazing. Why couldn't the whole thing have been like that?
