    I'd bet everything that when the May-Pac fight was in negotiations that they were looking ahead and this was Arum and/or Top Rank's best idea to name the May-Pac fight. That fight didn't happen. So they just stuck this weak name on this weak card. Thinking it's so clever.

    How can you call Pac-Clottey "The Event" They just wasted an unimaginitive, but strong, title on this stupid fight. It is not worthy. Maybe if they called it "An Event" or "One of the Events on March 13" then that's fine, but it didn't happen.

    I bet people said the same thing when Hearns/Hagler was billed as "The fight"

    Pacquiao - Clottey should be called "How about this instead?"

    But no, I have mad respect for Clottey. He is no bum, and this might turn out to be a pretty good fight. One thing is a foregone conclusion...no matter who Floyd picks for his fight, they won't be as tough and risky as Clottey.

    Clottey will put up a better fight than Cotto in my opinion
    much respect to Pacquiao for taking this fight
