Ooh, 1 fight where he chose to fight a Golden Boy fighter on his return fight after 2 years off. Yeah, that makes his career one of a runner. I guess Manny is a runner for chosing to not fight Zahir Raheem.

Doesn't explain him blasting his way through Castillo(2), Corralles, Correly, Baldomir, Judah, De La Hoya, Manfredy, Hernandez, etc. I mean if he was a runner then he would have walked away from the second Castillo fight, He wouldn't have made the fight with Corralles who was a Knockout Artist, Judah had the physical skills to match him so that fight wouldn't have happened if he was a runner. But that's right, your entire argument is subjective and made to be lapped up by Floyd haters, and not people with minds capable of critical thinking.

So who are the fighters that he dodged?

All I can say is... hahahahahahahhahahaahhaa

Sorry dude, that is by far the most biased comment I have seen in a while.
Judah was one of the baddest at 147... lol

You have all the same excuses that floyd said in interviews!!! LOL
None of those are your own arguments, just a bunch of sound bytes from mayweather... You expect me to believe a word of that?

This isn't about Manny, this is about Floyd and his history of lying and ducking.

Everyone gave him props for beating Castillo the second time, and for beating Corrales.
    Big deal.
    What else has he done?
    SD vs DLH?

He went up to 147 and dodged the big challenges. That is why you can't name anyone in his current weight class who anyone gives a **** about.

Remember that time Roy Jones jr beat James toney?

He is the best fighter who ever lived because of it, and he never needed to take another tough challenge again.

Why step up more than once in a career? Make your money the easy way!

If your dumb ass doesn't know Judah's talent then you don't know boxing.

I am a grown man. If your dumb ass don't understand grown man logic shame on you. Why don't you become a pro fighter on the side, donate your purse to the other guy, and make the fights the fans want to see? Man you are simple. :yep

You guys should just pay 55$ every saturday to go watch Floyd jump rope or hit the mitts, because that is about the toughest challenge you want to see him take.

It's pathetic what lengths you guys will go to defend every decision the man has made.
You all make up the most pathetic boxing fans. Floyd Mayweather Jr. fan club.

"Hey guys, they are gonna talk **** about him taking a fight with Baldomir... what we should we say.. he has 11 losses?"
"Let's stick to our gameplan... he is the lineal champion, and a really tough guy, plus he beat judah, so he must be a worthy challenge"
"yeah, but we just turned down Margarito for 8 million... well we will say what floyd said... he is a d level fighter and doesn't deserve to be in the ring with him"
"But baldomir is a d level fighter, and he is way worse than margarito.... how can we do this"
"well, when someone argues, we will just call them **** sucking *******s who are dumb"
    "yeah!!! we will show them!!!"

    Who else was at 147?
    Mosley? He ran
Margarito? His only 2 notable fights up till that point were against Cintron and Santos.
Williams? He wasn't the champ, had no name yet, and had very low market value. This is still a business, fighting guys that aren't selling PPVs isn't a great financial strategy.

Yes, Tarver wasn't a step up? Neither was John Ruiz?

Good post, you did a good job of highlighting the absurdity of the whole thing. With the way this episode has progressed its become almost valid to even hint a guy that has never tested positive for anything and never been suspected up until the Mayweather clan had their say is on roids.

So why did he fight /Judah/Baldomir/Marquez??
Those guys PPV giants or something?

The biggest PPV fight he had was with a guy who always had big PPV's. If he had so much drawing power, why was his next fight so much lower?
What were the PPV numbers for the Hatton fight?
    I think Cotto/Pac did more than hatton/may or may/marquez

So why was he not trying to fight either of those guys?

    John ruiz??
    Are you ****ing kidding
He took a HW strap off of bear hugger. WOW.

Tarver proved how great he was immediately after those fights. Yipee.
