Marciano & his victim La Starza were both well protected by the guys holding down boxing back then

    Pep also reached past 60-0

Keep in mind that the inflation of titles is neutralized by an almost parallel growth in boxing population, so do a count on active boxers by era vs titles you will see the peak value around (1x) 1962, (Pre3x) 1982, (Pre4x) 2002

I am certain this fight will never happen :nono

Floyd will prove his talent vs good boxers he can still beat at this stage of his career...Its unfair to ask an aged smaller guy who started at 130 to risk his life in the ring vs physically superior bigger younger fighters

Floyd possibly has a risk assessment team that studies these fights, Maidana is already the roof risk.

Pacman vs Mayweather can still happen :deal

Risk vs Reward is improving for Mayweather

Mayweather makes more $, I don't want this thread ending up in IB Bolivia thread, but in short the odds improved alot

They will not be correct, a loss can only equal a loss

The value of being undefeated = Infinity-0-0-0, since we don't have any proof that Marciano or Valero were going to lose...besides subjective speculations

A guy who loses once, should compared with guys matching his exact record at the same time, that way all guys have the exact record & the list will show the quality of the opposition they faced.

A more complex formula, will always drag you into the subjective realms with no additional useful data, as the list by its simplest form is already accepted subjectively.

Compare famous boxers records to guys with their records and you will :hellohi

props for doing this. Kind of neat subjective way too look at it.

Only thing is in boxing you will always have dangerous guys with bad records and vice versa but good work none the less.

Stiverne will lose by KO regardless of how he fights, mainly because he is inside the range of Wilder power punches, Wilder is too fast & too rangy...nothing he really can do :conf
