Five best wins for each fighter. I'm curious how they play into one anothers lists.

    Number them 1-5 please.

    I'll take a shot at Hearn's.

    1 - Roberto Duran (TKO 2)
    2 - Wilfred Benitez (MD 15)
    3 - Pipino Cuevas (TKO 2)
    4 - Virgil Hill (UD)
    5 - Saensak Muangsurin (TKO 3)

I'm factoring in things such as his broken hard against Benitez, his age against Hill, and so on.

Don't worry about the hand, Hearns was a 7-5 underdog vs a Benitez who was thought to have found his niche weight. He was also 4-1 early vs Hill and 2-1 fight time. Regardless of Hearns age Hill was thought to be the next great 175, which Hearns broke down quite a bit :D

I'm at a loss how to arrange his top 3 or so actually.

    1. Roberto Duran (TKO 2)

We have a reborn Duran coming off two great back to back performances vs Hagler and Moore. It's not just that Hearns won, it's the manner in which he achieved it. Suffice to say nobody went within buckley's of doing this to Duran before or after.

    2. Wilfred Benitez (MD 15)

Hearns showed his spurts of masterful boxing vs SRL were no flash in the pan vs the master that was the 7-5 fave Benitez. He comprehensively outboxed him and the cards flatter Benitez. One Hearns KD wasn't picked up and Tommy had points deducted as well.

    3. Pipino Cuevas (TKO 2)

Cuevas nowadays is severely underrated, but he sure wasn't at the time. This was pure destruction as Hearns looked like some freak boxing experiment concocted in a laboratory. His speed and power dancing in and out destroying Pipino without catching return fire was extraordinary.

    4. Virgil Hill (W12)

Against the odds Hearns shows he still has just enough left to take Hill to school. A jabbing clinic, with Hearns hooking off the jab and big right hand threat the key difference in the fight.

    5. Sugar Ray Leonard (D12)

Again Hearns pulls thru vs sizable odds. The vast majority of the boxing world, including monsieur Leonard feel Hearns deserved the nod. An underrated win.

Roldan, Andries and Schuler just miss out. Tho a struggle at times the way he took out the tough Roldan was impressive.

I'm not counting draws as wins... Not counting performances in general. Just wins.

Sorry, got ahead of meself. 5 can be Roldan then. Hearns had to gut out a problematic moment or two and Roldan fought well vs Marvin.

Roldan was stylistically big trouble for Tommy, so yeah i'll go with him. Big, strong, very aggressive,, tough good power etc. He was a handful of a matchup.

No placed for Shuler? I thought that was an amazing performance KOing the unbeaten Shuler in the first round, esp. coming right after the Hagler fight when people were asking if Hearns could handle middleweights. Roldan and Kinchen were both good wins for Tommy though.

He looked bad vs Kinchen tho. Schuler, Roldan, Andries, take your pick i think mate. I can see merits in all three and would never debate any order.

I think Buchanan is a better win than Moore or Palamino.

Def. Palomino but I think the Moore win was better than beating Ken B taken in the context of Durans career.
