Frollocks! The only prime victory was Lamotta. Turpin was 132'nd in line.

Let's compare that with our hero's of today or yesterday: the resplendent Ray Leonard with his 40 TOTAL CAREER FIGHTS!

Kind of difficult without the film, but I feel as though SRR had yet to hit his peak in early 1943 when he lost to LaMotta (a full blown top rated middleweight) coming in well below the 147 limit for that fight. He grew into his frame a bit more. I give Turpin credit, because I consider '51 Robinson (against Jake again) as arguably the best legitimate middleweight version of Robinson. You've got 147 Robbi fighting middleweights, and 160 (155-58 ) Robinson fighting middleweights. 16 of his 19 losses were accrued post-1955 after he'd been retired for a few years and came back. Past-Prime, for sure the whole way.

I'd give Hagler and Monzon the best shots all time at MW, with no 3rd in sight, so I'd actually give Hagler a good chance.

Leonard I'd give a chance at WW, but certainly lesser than a Hagler at MW.

I think Hearns and especially Duran get KO'd more often than they make it the distance, so I wouldn't give them a notable chance relative to others.

Duran beats him at lightweight (yes, Robbie started as a lightweight), and beats the post 1955 Robbie at middleweight. At welterweight, I say Robbie but Robbie knows he has been in a very close classic, and the Lamotta Robinson 6 Robbie beats Duran.

    It would not be easy...

And SRR likely outboxes him, but Hearns has the physical tools necessary to catch lightning in a bottle.

The others get methodically grinded 10 times out of 10.

At Welterweight SRR was unbeatable. At Middleweight possible Marvelous Marin could win by decision.

Hagler at 160 I would make a favorite over Robinson. He is one of only two fighters at 160 that I think I would do so.

Leonard at 147 I would give Leonard a solid 25% probably.

Hearns I would give a slightly less chance of.

Duran I would give a very small chance of winning.

He would beat the crap out all of them except Hagler. Prime Hagler could beat him at 160.

Turpin clearly outboxed prime middleweight Robinson and won by points. Maxim beat the crap out of him and won by TKO. Robinson retired from the fight. Robinson is overrated at middleweight. Hagler much probably would beat him. But at welterweight, he would beat the crap out of SRL, Duran and Hearns.
