When I say "hope it works out" I'm including the ITV deal. My personal opinion about froch is really irrellevant. He has the title, if he travels to the states, he deserves a serious pay day.

Reasonable. If he makes $1.4 mill to fight Taylor, I hope he takes it. I've asked before about his previous best pay day and I get answers, like "Whatever his paper route pays".

Well, no doubt he has done enough hyping in front of the 'boxing junkies' but how far does that go? I'm hearing outside Nottingham no too much interest. Let's face it, he has JC's shadow over him still. Will the JC fans look at his last fight and take to him? I kind of doubt it.

IMO if i were froch i would jump on it beat a us star on his home turf and and get the exposure and wait fora call from HBO.

but he is the champion and there for shouldn't have to travel.

Froch should take it. A good payday and a chance to back up his mouth.
    + US exposure.

If DStew has all his facts correct, it really looks like both sides are trying to make the fight happen.

    Great avatar by the way.

Yeah. It really sounds as if Taylor's side has their guarantee from Showtime and will 'settle' for that. I'm not sure why they are married to that March date though. But, their reasons are their reasons.....

Avatar pales in comparrison to yours. :thumbsup

Here's hoping it happens. I really want to see Froch tested to see what the guy's made of. He ain't getting any younger.

Danny was a helluva a warrior. Built a very respectable career on little more than heavy hands and the balls of a rhinocerous!

I've tried to be as accurate as the evidence will allow me to be. All numbers are taken from quotes given by Hennessy and DiBella themselves, not speculation or rumor by any of the boxing media.

In that case I would say there is every reason for this fight to get made.

Perhaps both fighters think there is easier money to be made elsewhere. :huh

I think they would have to schedule an afternoon card. We used to see that once in awhile, but not for a long time as I recall.
