    I doubt that. In case of 8 fighters and a knock-out format I cannot see any of the big guns willing to commit. In the event of a loss in the first fight theyd be sidelined for the next two-three years with no chance of redemption. No way.

    Very good point. Hopefully Son Of Walmart takes it home for USA and no mas on 6 man boxing tourneys

    not really, because lets say the top 8 LHW have a tournament, straight away 4 of them are out and they can fight each other, the next round they are down to only 2 and then the final, it would actually be quicker as its only 3 fights. you could do it in a calendar year

    I like the fact that you have the 6 best fighters competing against the others, the problem is that it ties the 6 best fighters in the division up, which means that rising stars can't get the big fights, i think that has been the case with Bute..
    but
    1)everyone should have equal amounts of home and away fights (away means fighting in the other guy's country!)
    2) all judges/refs should be from neutral countries
    3) You can only drop out if you have a legit medical report, that shows that you're not able to compete
    4) The highest seeds gets homefield advantage in the semis, the final should be in Vegas
