Good point, you shouldn't be able to pick and choose your fights at a division based on what you have done in previous ones. Floyd did sod all at 140 when the division was at it's hottest.

A poster in the classic forum called Monte Cox, created giant post dissecting Ali's career and breaking down and examining why all his opponents are bums and Ali is worth no credit.

It really put in perspective how anyone can dissect a record of a fighter and make him sound bad.

Floyd did nothing at 140 because hatton , and cotto wanted nothing to do with him , there was talk of Floyd and Zoo but , Zoo's people made a deal with hatton..

Even after Hatton beat Zoo he still wanted nothing to do with floyd at 140 ..Arum would not even entertain the thought of Floyd fighting Cotto , as he put Cotto was not ready for Floyd ..

So if Floyd did nothing at 140 it certainly was not his fault ..

Probably Cotto has a better resume at 147.

But Mayweather is the Champ and he has a much better overall resume.

I would hope that Cotto has a much better resume than Mayweather @ 140. He was there for 6 years, Mayweather was there for about 1 year.

Every fight you named was a big fight for floyd!

How many main event fights has Cotto had!
