Watching the fight on the weekend Amir was slowly digging his own grave, sitting on the ropes with his chin sky high and show boating :-(

I though he was going to blow Peterson out of the water in the first, but once again the sustained presure took it's tool on Khan.

He went from saying he was the only man who could defeat Mayweather to saying he is only scared of his mumma and now he is claiming the DC commision were bias and unfair

He needs to stop talking himself up over twitter :patsch and calling out the legends of the sport when he still has a long way to go himself.

    The post fight conference:

IMO Khan is heading down hill from here. If he folded under the pressure of Lamont at Light Welter, who know what the hard hitting Welter could do to him

Whats are everybodies thoughts on Amir's fight on the weekend and where he will go from here?

It was a fight he was meant to dominate

I think he is allowed the 1 off bad fight

it will be his next fight that determines where he is going

another bad one and his $$$ value drops considerably

a good one and perhaps he is still on target for a Mayweather fight

    I had it 113-112 Peterson.
Quality fight, Peterson was relentless & coming from where he was years ago its a fairytale story.
Khan was so disappointing, failed to really make any adjustments.
Just got on his bike ran alot, & IMO definitely deserved at least 1 point deduction for his holding & pushing.
This fight also IMO clearly puts Tim Bradley at number 1 at 140.

Khan will rematch Peterson probably around April or May.

Take away the 2 point penalty and Khan won the fight, so saying he is on the slide is a bit far fetched......

BTW - Have a look at his face compared to Peterson, i actually had Khan winning by 2 points even after the deductions, i didn't think it was as close as they made out.

Khan will blast him out in rematch and be back on the train...... he is only mid 20's so he'll be back no problem.

I saying all of the above, he won't ever be in PBF class but i thought that even b4 yesterday's fight.

I scored the fight to Peterson by 1 round after the KD in the first (I thought it was more of a tangled push) and the 2 point deduction was spot on IMO.

Khan was spoling the fight, he would hold the head down and complain when he was commiting the foul? He was trying everything in the last round, including that dead fish routine on the ropes hopeing for a point deduction

He whinged like a baby and was beat up by a man who was set up to make him look fantastic, so yeah IMO he is on the slide big time.

Now a blue print has been set in place, watch him avoid any big punchers or presure fighters in the future.

No need to get hostile old fella

You said he is entitled to 1 off night, well he has now had 2 :smooch

IMO Khan will fight little Hatton in Manchester for an easy win. If that is indeed his next fight then that wont answer any questions.

Khan will struggle with power punchers from now on :deal

Yep and when he won his WBA title off Kotelnik he ran for the full 12 rds. He is ridiculously quick but I have always thought he looks fragile in the ring and will no doubt suffer several stoppages in his career.

With the sustained beatings he took against both Maidana and Perterson I dont see his career at the top lasting long at all.

His body must be sore today, some of those body shots were heavy

If Peterson was a decent banger like some of the hispanic 140 pound pressure fighters, Khan would have stopped IMO.
