    - Peterson deserved the win.

    - Khan fought dirty and deserved to be deducted some points.

    - the whole team...roach, oscar, khan were a bunch of sooks after losing.

    * khan doesnt fight in close at all or clinch. Its the one glaring ommission from his game.

    - still give credit to khan...like peterson, he fights his ass off, the only time he doesnt is when he gets on his bike. But he throws lots of punches and isnt afraid to back himself. Chin is pretty good. He is more than just a speed merchant.

Pressure and body shots obviously help, but as far as blue print goes...you still need to be on your game to beat him.

    - easy nights work for floyd if they ever matched them up.

In saying that, give credit to

    :huh

Did you watch the fight or did you just read a run down??

Khan was landing peppering shots, jabs and lunging straight/hooks. Only on 2 occasions did I notice Peterson go into his shell hurt, after a few seconds he would be straight back onto Khans chest and throwing bombs.

Peterson was landing brutal body shot all night long and the head shots he landed while on the ropes were throwing Khans head around like a bobble doll.

I had him winning by 1 round because he was outboxing Peterson for the early and some middle rounds. I have a strong feeling you didnt watch the fight, Khan got beat up badley. He looked like he didnt want to be there at all once Peterson warmed up.

Do you judge all your fights on who has the most brusing and cuts after the final bell? :patsch

I actually think u didn't watch the fight, Khan picked Peterson off a lot but just didn't have enough sting in his punches to stop him..... Peterson put his head down and pressured Khan from mid rounds onwards and people gave that aggression some rds.......... Khans problem was he ran too much which looks bad especially in the states, Peterson had the home crowd and that not only influenced the judges and ref but obviously you as well.

Khan won that fight clearly before you deduct the 2point penalty........ he didn't get beat up like you say.

No doubt it was a close contest...i thought the point deductions were justified.
Khan definitely got beat up bad in the 2nd half of the fight.
The left side of Khan's face was a mess at the post match press conference...not quite as bad as Giovani Segura's tho over in the Philippines.:yep (not many would be)
Khan hung on barely, & on at least a few occasions late on his body language told the story.

There is just no geting through that thick skull of yours :-(

I actully think your a gumby. I said that Khan was winning round by outboxing Peterson, go back and read. That is why i had the fight so close.

What do you mean?? "Peterson put his head down and pressured Khan from mid rounds onwards and people gave that aggression some rds"

He was beating him from pillar to post during most of those rounds, what the fark were you watching?? His aggression was effective, unlike Khan running from corner to corner. What are you trying to get at, you are digging deeper and deeper.

Your making up more excuses than Khan himself  Home town was Team Khan decision, Ref came with that decision and him running was his own doing. What the fark are you getting at :patsch

Khan did get beat up, im not the only person saying this but i seem to be the only person you reply to :smooch

Khan got beat up, beat up bad!!

I'm a fan of Khan...But I had absolutely no faith in his chin after some of his lightweight performances and of course that brutal KO loss..I think he has shown he can take a shot now that he has grown up and gone to 140.
Really was quite an enjoyable fight...close fights produce debate and this was one with some debatable elements.

Peterson fought out his skin and deserved the win..and thats even with me scoring the fight for Khan by a point...Very interested to see how the rematch goes.

Maybe Khan will come out possessed looking for an early end...or he might play it super safe and pull a Mayweather-Castillo II sort of performance.
Peterson's confidence will certainly be brimming...whether that sees him do even better or perhaps get a little complacent not to sure.

I used to think he was the least talented of the bros...maybe he still is but he certainly has the superior fighting spirit..probably a bit more polished aswell.

Same as me & many others once thought about Lamont being the least talented brother.
Anthony needs to take a leaf out of Lamont's book, as Lamont's stock has well & truly smashed Anthony's now.

Anthony unfortunately until he overcomes a top 10 opponent will be remembered for his awful foul filled performance vs Rios, where Rios annihilated him.

He is less talented than Anthony but like you say has more heart. Never see Lamont dog a fight and get disqualified on purpose.

Never hear Lamont make silly sounds after every punch either.

How many contradictions can one make in a statement u halfwit.

Khan got beat up, beat up bad........ but then u say the fight was close :huh

Mate i couldn't give a **** about that dirty pak.i but u obviously think i do..... if u don't think the home crowd played some part in Khan getting points deductions than your as deluded as anyone i've seen post on here......

Take away the 2point penalty and Khan wins on all 3 cards u ****'n dill................. what was it u said again " Khan got beat up, beat up bad" :patsch

You ****ing moron, can you win a fight by out boxing your opponent whilst not ever hurting them? Would you call that getting beat up? Or just getting beaten?

Khan took the more damage, was hurt more times in the fight and was only winning rounds by jumping in and out with the jab and throwing quick arm punching combo's. Nothing was hurting Peterson but for a few quick combo's

IMO khan got beat up, I don't see him doing too well againt the bigger boys at welter

great refereeing , should be more of it deducting points for holding , pushing and fouling in general , penalise these holders and pushers and make them fight .
