Nobody fights cubans nowadays because the high risk and low reward due to the lack of cuban fan base support.
and what is the fan base of Vanes? how many armenians filling up stadiums?...and Martinez? how many argentinians buying tickets?...
why either Vanes or Angulo dont take the fight against Lara, he is already packing for mexico or could stay in america and fight Vanes. But neither one agree to fight Lara.
I can tell you that if Gamboa lands a big fight in Miami the AA Arena will be full the day of the fight.

Thats something I don't understand, why would Arum put Gamboa in New Jersey where noone cares about Cubans? He should build a following in Miami until Gamboa starts to make some real noise, THEN put him in those places.

Look at what some Mexicans and Philippians fans are saying, "he wasn't impressive" and the PR "Juanma blasted this guy in one round", what a bunch of haters, Gamboa look great in his win, doing everything he want it to do, when he chose to do it, he took his time against a puncher that was stronger and a better fighter at 126 than he was at 122, and IMO he make him quit, that gash was not that big, PDL should had know he was behind and didn't protest, actually he was whining to the doc and that is why they stopped the fight, he would had being koed in the next couple of rounds, by the way Ponce landed a couple of left hands and nothing happened.

Better question is why arent Cubans die hard fans of boxing like the puerto ricans? Anyways I think Lara is overrated by you guys along with rigo. Gamboa is the only cuban worth mentioning right now atleast hes proving **** professionaly and not hanging on to his amateur career.

Doc is a proven cuban hater. Ever since Lara beat the **** out of williams he has been a full alert. And Gamboa at feather has him nervous about his little putica Mikey.

Has Cuba ever had a great athlete who wasn't black? Just curious. The percentage of Black people there must be high.

You know why you crying, cause no one gives a chance to Cubans, Minus the very awesome Gamboa.

Lara's record stands at Draw>Loss.... he don't deserve a title shot right now nor is he ready... I remember your posts after Molina saying that Lara was a good Prospect but didn't come in ready with his stamina issues and needed more time, now he is the second coming of god for you cubans because he won the event VS Williams who was war torn and still was dealing with stamina issues....

Yes I want him to fight Canelo but not right now coming off a controvesial Draw, and loss. he needs to work his way back up to get a shot at the cash cow and title.. because right now "NO ONE GAINS NOTHING FROM LARA" he needs to rematch Molina and get back up to the top of the division.
