Roy Jones JR has a better resume than Ward in the last 5 years, just saying...
Ward should fight the likes of James Toney and Roy Jones, maybe even The Real Deal, not senior citizens who drive cabs in Argentina like he did in his last fight. He will skip Kova too, just wait and see

I don't think Ward can make 168 any more.

Anyway, Ward from the Super 6 time would be my pick as well as the deserved favorite to get a UD. He was brilliant that tournament, amazing skills and defense, and he is somewhat bigger than GGG.

However I'm not sure that the layoff hasn't hurt Ward, and I think he'd be very drained at 168 now, so I'd pick Golovkin if they fought at 168 next year.

I think Ward would win a decision. He's got the size, strength, speed, and boxing ability to beat GGG. He has so many faucets to his game. I would be amazed if G could keep him on the ropes. Should he win against Kova, it will only strengthen my belief in this.

    At 160 Golovkin by KO6
    At 164 Golovkin by KO9
At 168 Golovkin by UD (Not in Oracle arena)
At 171 50/50 (Not in Oracle arena)
At 175 Ward by UD (I think it would be a great boxing match. Both guys need to adjust several times and the one who does it better will win)

I would have to fancy Andre, especially as we've never seen GG at SMW.

If we're taking the Ward that was fighting at 168 then I take Ward. That's no slight on GGG, I think he's awesome but at 168 I think he loses to Ward - although I could see Ward getting hurt on occasions. I think his inside fighting and superior strength makes the difference here.

What KO Kidd said. I doubt that Ward could make 168 anymore.

We will see how good his chin is against Kovalev. If he can take power punching, he will probably UD GGG at 168. If he has a suspect chin, then GGG would tar him a new one.

Bull**** Danny me boy, Ward would outbox and shut down GGG'S offense real quick.. He'll look ordinary, and you clowns will turn your back and Jump on the next Bandwagon. That's how you guys operate.

GGG would slaughter Ward like a helpless pig. There really isn't any need for this discussion

If this fight ever happens it will be at a catchweight, and will be most likely whenever GGG decides to test the waters at 168.

Then why didn't he do it at 168 then? Anyone from 154-168, and he's failed so far at following through. He won't fight Lara, he wouldn't fight Ward, but he has fought a WW... Go figure.

Why do so many know nothings always bring up lara as if he is something special? He is slick but that is it, GGG would cut off the ring and blast his overrated ass outside of the stratosphere

As for Ward, he priced himself out with posturing, his chin would never ever hold up against GGG's power. I don't even think he will ever want to fight a power puncher ever again after the kovalev fight to be honest after what will happen to him
