It really is humorous listening to the legions of wards followers.

You got idiots saying BJS, jacobs and eubanks are basically worthless challenges yet, they swallow and accept Ward fighting men no one has ever heard of before.

We got him fighting 40 year old bums and the worst of it is he goes 12 full rounds with these underlings and they call it masterclass performances :qmeparto:

And they have the audacity to criticise GGG because he let Brook hit him before he completely ruined him

Ward has already put in his Work and is fighting a guy for 175 pound supremacy and number 1 P4P status, why is that so hard for you to understand? And why are you trying to diminish Ward?

It's taken him over 5 years to fight someone relevant, meanwhile his fans jump on other fighters who have actually been active and fought against legitimate opponents.

I just hope you are on this board when Kovalev crushes him like an ant in November.

I don't know, maybe you will not return to this place out of shame because I don't think you actually watch and appreciate boxing for the spectacle that it is - rather you cling on to personalities and certain boxers and turn them into mythical Gods.

Ward's resume is held to such high esteem it's ridiculous. You'd think he'd have beaten the likes of Jake Lamotta, SRL, and marvin hagler by the way his people keep crowing about the super six.

He beat a limited froch, a dumb one dimensional Abraham and a decent prime Kessler. Maybe add that dumb wild swinger Biko into the mix and thats it who are worth mentioning. Since then he's fough b and d level bums.

We already know GGG doesn't like his chances here, more than happy to face Froch or JCC jr at the full SMW limit yet wanted to drain Ward down to 164. Ward would shut him out.

Paul Smith, Wards comeback fight did better against Arthur Abraham than GGGs best win, Martin Murray. And you wanna **** on Wards resume?

The same Paul Smith that came in to the weigh obese?

GGG's resume he has at least faced current gen elite fighters, granted not the best of the best. But can you seriously tell me Abraham, who went life and death with Murray, who GGG actually stopped, is one of the best of the best?

The only names you can throw out there are froch and kessler. And froch was always limited. Kessler is Ward's best win, that's it.

The rest are fighters someone who proclaims they are the son of god, should beat. No one else on his *******ised ducking resume, can you say would beat the top guys in the division.

Current gen elite fighters? The only guy close to elite he's fought is a welterweight.

Wards resume shits all over Golovkins from a great height.

Lemiuex was meant to be a klller before he fought GGG and now after he was made mincemeat of, he's suddenly nothing special.

He was the champ and ggg made him look like a little lost boy.

Daniele Geale is another very good fighter who was relevant at the time and he was destroyed. The point is GGG through no fault of his own has been let down by cowards who refuse to get in the ring with him. This was how he found himself in the position of nearly putting an end to the unbeaten Brook's career who is very relevant, the best in his division who pushed for the fight, only for GGG to oblige and do the business.

In time his resume will prove greater than Wards, now that most of his rivals have found their confidence after the brook distraction.

I don't disagree. Ward was able to secure the big fights in a different era and lets be honest, no one gets wobbly knees at the prospect of getting in the ring with him.

GGG was the most feared fighter in boxing, until he played his joker card and made himself look weak against Brook.

Now in this era, Ward is yet to fight anyone that matches the calibre of opponent GGG has fought.
