No and sadly they don't care:-( Cash_718 is a perfect case of blind nuthuggery....The facts are Dawson avoided him then by petitioning the WBC to have Adi removed as his mandatory(more or less camped out at the convention) If you care to dispute that fine but lets look at whats going on now.....
Diaconus handlers won the purse bid, Dawson gets a 60/40 cut, which is also his biggest purse to date(if he doesnt avoid him all together), the fight is to be in Romania

All that I've heard from reports out of the Dawson camp is pissing and moaning....."We don't really want to fight in Romania." blah, blah, blah....so the money is right, then whats stopping him? Tarver has stated he wants nothing to do with Dawson, everyone else worth the time is busy, so why does Chad seem so intent on avoiding his mandatory who has earned his shot, and will make him more money than ever before?

Have you seen him in his post fight interview after Johnson? He is really inbred. Roger Mayweather was right, he is a little slow.

Now, can you imagine Diaconu landing a hook to the head? He won't be only slow after that, he'll need a picture book to make these post fight interviews.

I don't know if anybody knew but when Diaconu fought Henry, he was sick. He caught a Strep 1 week before fight time. But since it was for the interim WBC belt, he went for it anyways knowing that Henry couldn't win even if he was sick. That is why his stamina was bad that night and why he went all out in the first rounds. He wanted to finish it early and go home and sleep until Dawson found his testicules somewhere.

Dawson knows that. His posse knows it too. This is the reason why they are delaying. Even if the money is good, losing to Diaconu would be a big hit to his career. He has kids to feed for christ sake.:yep

He does have kids to feed so why risk losing the title by avoiding his mandatory Diaconu? Dawson can't run forever (at least I hope not) and if he does decide to vacate the title to fight Tarver then Diaconu and Johnson will fight for the vacant title(more fitting being as Johnson was robbed and Diaconu was ducked)afterwards the winner will be calling for Dawsons head(should he be victorious in a fight with Tarver) as I'm sure Johnson wants him as much as Adi does

Yeah I'm blind so blind that I was waiting for Dawson to knock out AD only for AD to pull out 2 weeks before there fight. And I'm so blind that I saw Chris Henry get robbed in the same place that Dawson has to go and fight this undeserving bum who's only real win was a against a never was in Rico Hoye. Yup I'm blind. Do everyone a favor and hang yourself you ****in idiot.

Dawson is class.....after being hurt badly he still fought like a warrior, if he sharpens up his defensive abilities he will become an elite in this game. His upside and talent level far outweights anyone in his weightclass. Johnson does deserve a rematch, it should be made and made quick.

True that. The only other person with comparable upside ironically is Diaconu. Dawson needs to stay on the outside and use his boxing ability; he schooled Johnson everytime he used the doubel/triple jap and moved with his legs.

Diaconu's injury prevented the first fight from happening - at least that is how I understood it at the time. Lambasting Dawson, if he pulls out of the scheduled fight in Romania in order to fight Tarver, does not make sense to me. Even if Tarver isn't as tough a fight as Diaconu (which I'm not conceding), a win will bring Dawson a lot more shine than a win over Diaconu. The only fight better than a fight with Diaconu would be one with Tarver. The poster's criticism is premature. Let's see if Dawson fights Tarver and then pass judgment.

Dawson struggled with Johnson....Diaconu struggled with CHRIS ****ING HENRY.

I know you guys are proud of Adrian for being a good fighter but for real now, let's keep things in perspective.

As if AD is a step above Tarver. No disrespect to Romanians, but I wouldn't want to fight there against a hometown fighter either unless I had to. If you don't KO a guy there's a chance you might have to dominate to get the W.

I can perfectly understand Dawson wanting to fight Tarver ahead of Diaconu. A unifcation against an experienced vet that would earn him plenty of kudos and a decent payday. Maybe he would earn more for a fight with AD now, but would he earn even more again after a win over Tarver? Most likely yes. Diaconu has earned his shot, but what is wrong with letting this fight simmer for a little while. They are both young fighters with plenty of time to make this fight happen. In the meantime they should make the most out of fighting the more seasoned vets like Johnson, Taver, Jones etc.

BTW, I had Dawosn beating Johnson 8-4 in a very tough fight. Johnson shaking Dawson badly in the 10th does not earn him the win.

Dawson has until tonight midnight EST to sign the contract otherwise
he will be stripped off his belt tomorrow.

My prediction: Glen Johnson is gonna go to Bucarest to fight for the new regular WBC champ.

Well it's been three weeks and the fight hasn't been finalized yet. Dawson is obviously stalling for a fight with Tarver. But if he really wanted to fight Tarver, that would of been announced already. I don't know why Dawson is stalling, but he needs to make up his mind on whether he wants to fight Tarver or Diaconu. If I were Dawson I would try to rework a deal with the WBC to fight Diaconu in the states or in Canada.
