    No doubt, he'll need to tighten up his defense on the way in though. left his hands way to low and looked open to an Uberknee in the clinch

    To be honest i don't think it mattered much as the guy he was facing was a tin can. He was fat, out of shape and only talked a good game because he trains with Overeem. Other than that it was money in the bank for Dan. He could do as he pleased.

    Jacare's going to kick some ass. Its about time he made the big leagues. His stand up has improved leaps and bounds and on the ground he's one of the best grapplers and Jits guy in the world.

    Completely agree. The fight in all honesty was a waste of time and just a stay busy fight. Personally id love to see Dan in with Mir and Jones tommorow.

    It was nice of Strikeforce to give everyone an easy goodbye fight to showcase their skills. It would have been nice to see a Barnett/Cormier rematch instead last night - but no point in having them bust each other up again and possibly miss some intriguing fights coming up this year. Give everyone a gimme fight and let them end the Strikeforce run gracefully without injury.
