It's likely that the films of Harry Greb were on Nitrate film. Unless there somewhere hidden in tempture controlled film vault, or trsnsfered to vhs There gone. Completly gone. If someon says they have long lost footge of Greb. It's probbly a scam.

 

They could have gotten transferred to better film at any point, right? Not just VHS.

I don't know a lot about that medium. Lost a fortune on my investment in Laser Disk.

I hope they never find them, if they exist. People need untouchable heroes, and if found, the tapes would suddenly take the cloak of mystery off Greb, and that's what so many live for. That's no fun. Then we wouldn't need Burt's chiding, pedantic comments about the glory of yesteryear to see us through the day.
