No, Arreola already had his shot. He does not have the stuff to be the champ.

And your evidence for this is that he lost in the last round to the most dominant heavyweight since Lennox Lewis? Logic Fail. :patsch

    PS

I like the signing your name to the post thing. It sorta makes it seem official, even if you have a dog**** opinion.

No, because he got dominated from the first second to the last second, has no notable wins, can't break an egg with his punch, and has no desirable qualities as a heavyweight fighter.

He was **** before he fought for the title, then he he pulled a non effort and still got dominated.

Eddie Chambers wouldn't be champ in the revolving door 80's and if the US is pinning their hopes on him for the division, it's over.

I think Jonathan Banks might soon have a chance to have the top US spot, if he improves his conditioning.

I like Mike Hunter jr, and hard core fans remember his dad, Mike " the bounty " Hunter sr who passed away a few years ago.

Mike Hunter jr isn't very big, or strong. He has some skills. I see him as a more dedicated Jason Estrada Type, with a bit less speed, but more dedication and power. Translation, he's not as good as Chambers or Brock. Chambers suffered a concussion, and it remains to be seen it he can come back.

The other USA heavy that went pro was Mike Wilson. He was the #1 guy for a short while at amateur super heavy. He's not even as good as Hunter.

Thompson is old. Arreola is the lone active man in position for another title shot.

Im sure someone else on here must have said this but Arreola has already failed at top level against V Klitschko.
Adamek is still a bit unproven at HW at the moment. So if Arreola beats Adamek it would be hard to judge how good that win would be at this time

American heavyweight boxing is in the shitter. Arreola is good, but not really special. he's obese too, which doesn't help

It's not just US Heavyweight boxing. It's HW boxing. If Haye doesn't fight the Klits anytime soon. The division goes into a nose-dive as the Klits get older and Haye bullshits around.

HBO can cash in on Adamek easily.
