Did the weigh-in happen yet? or is today? Saw some video of Ruiz and AJ together and AJ looks lots thinner and ButterBall looks like he inhaled lots of whole fried turkey's and lots of stuffing not to mention whole pies! Ruiz may outweigh AJ by 30 or 40 pounds... Not placing my bet until after I see the weigh-in!! I'd planned on betting half what I won in the first fight on mybookie but I may bail out last minute!
His weight and fat have nothing to do with each other. I met Andy in 07 and never seen him in better shape physically for the Joshua fight.
is it a coincidence that the fight is taking place in the Diriyah Arena with all the rumors about AJ's bowel problems circulating across the internet??
will AJ getting pumbled in Sparring by Dustin "Worm" Nichols and his rabid bowel problems affect his performance on Saturday or are these just circulated to be excuses for his second loss to the Blob??
It would not be needed if I was only trying to say he is kinda fat. If I want to see what body fat he likely is at-or debate what weight he could fight at with his current lean vody mass-the analyses is valuable. Anyway, some people are "fat but fit". There is a limit to how fit you cab be, & too much belly fat is correlated with bad health outcomes anyway. But some can be significantly overweight & in measureable ways besides strength-cardio being most important... Be in pretty good shape.
You use what brought you to the dance, if it's not broken, do not try to fix it. Those saying's fit the state of affairs as they relate to World Champion Andy Ruiz Jr. You do not have to be built like a body builder to be a champion, confidence, skill, and a will to win.
Ruiz is around 275 ,with proper weigh in, I really don’t see him winning....remember he’s better heavy right ? His ideal weight is 255 in a fight like this , AJ is a bit to light maybe but will have more speed and possibly power with better technique which against Ruiz overweight no doubt should win this even more now. If Joshua comes in like his first dozen fights around the 240 mark and blitzes Ruiz it’s going to end sooner then later.
Ruiz has probably been carbo loading since birth. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5875424/ I still hope he wins. It will be a good win for the little guy. Or in Andy's case the not so little guy. I do have concern for the guy once he quits boxing. Once he stops training in the gym for hours every day he may have issues maintaining that weight.
