Good post, good trip down memory lane. The talent from 122-126 pound during that era verges on unbelievable. Damn, I miss those kind of fights. HBO's B.A.D shows with Foreman, Merchant, Lamps, and RJJ all in Hawaiian shirts or something comparable. Merchant, drunk off his ass dropping some crazy but poetic analogy about the epic fight we were about to watch.

Kennedy Mckinney, Junior "Poison" Jones, Marco Antonio Barrerra, Erik "EL Terrible" Morales, Kevin Kelley, Freddy Norwood, Derrick Gainer, Juan Manuel Marquez, the latter years of Orlando Canizales, the granite chinned "Pocket Rocket" Wayne Mcculough moving up in weight working his ass off, and finally Prince Naseem Hamed bursting onto the scene. Yeah, those were some good fights! I wouldn't necessarily include Manny Pac in that era, he came along a bit after.

favorite fights : Marco Antonio Barerra vs Kennedy Mckinney and Marco Antonio vs Erik Morales 1.:happy

Legendary bouts that are never given recognition. What about Hamed v. Vazquez and Kelly?

Barrera vs Mckinney was arguably the fight of 1990's, and Barrera vs Morales I is the fight of the 00's.

Yeah those were both really good and extremely exiting. I didn't want to make my list too long so I only picked my top 2. I remember watching Hamed's first fight in the U.S against Kevin Kelley, his ridiculous but awesome ring entrance, and the crazy knockdown affair it turned out to be. I also remember Kennedy Mckinney knocking out Junior Jones cold(on Jones' birthday) on the undercard, that was shocking!

And don't forget Prince Naseem. His career did not go as far as the rest but in the featherweights he belonged with them pac,MAB,EM, and JMM
