I've been on board for some time now. Hopefully he can dominate Walker tonight, in a true measuring stick fight with fellow MW prospect Danny Jacobs.
TKO in the 2nd Round vs. Michael Walker last night! The same Michael Walker recently took fellow prospect Danny Jacobs the distance... We get both the present and future of the MW division in 1 weekend!
Here's some video shot from the crowd of the end of the figtht: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivXwFd2R8Hw[/ame] Walker was attempting to bully him around the ring, but got turned in the corner, and then FG started unloading, and Walker just tried to cover up for the next minute, while the ref incompetently watched him get beat up. Finally, the ring doctor had to enter the ring to put an end to it.
Guerrero was really impressive last night. Porter looked good too, but Pinzon looked like a bum who didn't want to fight, but Walker looked like a dude that was just overwhelmed by a superior fighter.
That placed looked huge, and it looked packed. I would say it was at capacity or near capacity level. I might be exaggerating a bit, but it looked like there was 10,000 there easy. It looked packed watching it on TV.
I heard some guy talking today at the Fruitland little league opening day who thought it was an early stoppage???? From my veiw and everyone else I have heard from, I agree it was like the ref wanted to let the crowd get their moneys worth and could have stopped it slightly sooner!
his manager says he wants to step his competition up a notch and see him fight for a belt in about year!!! Full steam ahead!!!!
Guerrero beat Walker much easier than expected. Walker seemed like he could give Guerrero some rounds but instead got blown away. Guerrero is a solid and fun to watch guy. With the middleweight division being so thin I would expect him to be one of the top guys there in the next year or so.
