Normally I hate when people make threads about impossible fights that never happened. But now here goes mine. Prime 135lbs Hector "Macho" Camacho and 135lbs Floyd Mayweather jr. I am not even sure if this would have resulted in the fight of the century or a chess match. Floyd is a little bigger than Macho. They are or "were" very quick master boxers. I think Camacho hits harder than many people think. We know Camacho weakest point was discipline, but back then he was great. Floyd had the discipline that Camacho lacked. I wont try to say who wins in a fight that never happened like some people do. But I will tell you something: I would have paid anything to watch this fight.:thumbsup

Why would you pay for a mismatch? At least say Sugar ray robinson vs Floyd or something. Floyd would be an easy 3-1 fave.

I think that match up would be best at 130. The Camacho that ko'd Bazooka Limon, against the Mayweather that stopped Corrales. I'd like to see it too.

    Heh.. heh...heh.. wise ass :rofl:patsch

SRR would obliterate your man, he would dwarf him in fact.
SRR has the reach and height of a solid MW, he would **** Floyd up like there was no tomorrow.

    Mismatch? :nono

I've seen a better display from Camacho against Vinny Pazienza than Mayweather did against Hatton...and VP was a much wilder fighter than Hatton would ever dream of being.

If he bought out Joe Cortez to stop Camacho from his signature tactic of holding the back of the head

I'll take Camacho in this one. The way southpaw Zab Judah was beating Floyd in the first 5-6 of that fight, Hector Camacho has that kind of speed and discipline to go the distance and take a UD.
