    If Fres wins he will be OLDER THAN GEORGE FOREMAN when Foreman beat Moorer.

    Fres will be ONE WEEK short of his 46th birthday.

    But it's for the WBA "regular" belt.

    Are people who recognize Tyson as the youngest champ ever (for winning the WBC belt from Berbick) going to recognize Oquendo as the oldest heavyweight champ ever if he beats Charr?

    Well, he trained for his rematch with Chagaev, which was cancelled.

    And he trained for his title shot against Lucas Browne, which was cancelled.

    And he trained for his vacant title fight against Shannon Briggs, which was cancelled.

    And he trained for his title shot against Manuel Charr, which was cancelled.

    And now he's in training for Charr, again.

    Freaking ridiculous.

    ALL of this is due to the fact that Fres went to fight Chagaev, and the promoter screwed Fres out of his purse. And they went to court to get their purse, which wasn't paid. And as part of all the negotiations, I believe, he was promised a return with Chagaev, which he never really deserved anyway. Chagaev seemed to win straight up. They just screwed Fres out of his purse.
