    The Fight of Their Lives
    ITV1

Documentary about the 1995 world title fight boxing match between Nigel Benn and Gerald McClellan, which ended in such tragic circumstances that it has never been broadcast since. British paratrooper-turner-boxer Benn faced rising American star McClennan, one of the hardest punchers in boxing history, in a match which changed their lives forever. The brutal and controversial fight left McClellan seriously injured and Benn mentally scarred. The programme features fresh allegations and further twists as well as the emotional reunion of the two fighters after years of bitterness. SUB

I watched that fight live as a kid.

Savage isn't the word to describe it.

Benn was lucky to come out of that first round. He took some BOMBS off of G-Man!

    That's a real fight!

Even though G-Man will be seen in his sad state, trapped in a dead body,we'll probably get a load of hate n **** about karma n dogs and **** knows what.
The guy was a great fighter who more or less lost his life entertaining us.I just wish if people hate him and feel some sort of sick satisfaction at his plight they'd just stay away from threads were boxing fans want to discuss him.
He might have done and said some bad things but he was,for me,a tremendous talent.
Should be a great (and sad) watch.
