The fight should be 50/50 but Floyd SHOULD get more money

This is equivalent to posting a thread saying: This fight should be 12 rounds but the rounds SHOULD be 3 minutes long.

 

but I guess his point is that Mayweather deserves the extra sum of money he'll recieve after all the dollars are counted, and his reason for that is because mayweather makes more money then Pacquiao... atsch

I think Bball is saying the companies split 50/50 then pay the fighters what they'd receive out of that 50% their promoter got. That's not the same as Pac and Floyd splitting the money 50/50, and that's what I think he's trying to get across. This might be the way it's always done, but some people think Pac and Floyd should get the same amount of money... Since Floyd get's a bigger cut of the 50% the promoter would get than Pac gets from Arum, he's saying Floyd should get paid more in the end.

 

Pac is an international superstar. He is in film & records. He makes memorable late night talk show appearances that has America intrigued & sometimes laughing. He is verified as the most Googled boxer for the past few years. He further bolstered his appeal by learning english & conducting interviews in English. Not bad for a dirt poor kid who had to eat his family dog not to starve.

That's exactly how it does work. It wouldn't make any sense for fighter's to get the same amount but the one promoter to take a higher cut than the other. That's not 50/50.

Floyd and Pac can weigh in at 147, but the fight needs to be at the WW limit.
or
Floyd and Pac MUST fight at WW, but Floyd SHOULD be taller.
