The fight that makes the most sense for Floyd to go for a 50-0 record is...

I think his legacy would be enhanced because a win would make Floyd lineal MW champion and that's the kind of thing that boxing heads pay attention to when looking back. And with Canelo being so young who knows how great he will be throughout his career. If Floyd were to beat Golovkin then he.would beat a guy who hasn't defeated anyone significant and who has already seen his best days. So I think GGG is more of a lose-lose for Floyd. If he wins then GGG loses all his elite status. At least Canelo has a.solid 10 years ahead of him.

I agree with the spirit of everything you're saying, and have thought along similar lines for some time. I actually thought Floyd should have been targeting Cotto previously for the same sort of reasons.

I doubt Canelo would do that fight at the real middleweight weight. He's not ready lol

Thurman would be more impressive, he already beat Canelo and it was so lopsided that a rematch makes no sense.

lol thurman barely beat garcia. thurman has looked like a good but not special fighter against anyone who is decent fighter.

I do agree Canelo vs mayweather is a waste of time.

I'd like to see a pac rematch but that won't happen he doesn't want to take a chance with a healthy pacquiao. Wouldn't matter he would still dominate him at this stage. 5-8 years ago it would have been a good fight.
