It is foolish to insist absolutely everyone cheats. We do not even know if most cheat-regularly or ever. Some do not have confidence they will get away with it. Some have concerns about their health. Some have principles & do not want to feel like a lying, cheating fraud. Some have combinations of these or other factors. It is just as silly as to insist nobody cheated-all positives are false-or nobody ever not found dirty used! Cycling is not effectively regulated.
Peds absolutely would improve punch resistance, because part of punch resistance is neck, core and leg strength. If these dudes combine the muscle again with weight loss supplements to help cut weight and rehydrate, then of course it would help. The OP is a troll thread obviously. Pac wasn't suspicious at 130. In fact, his gradual rise tracked that of the great Mexicans. It wasn't until 140+ that I started to get suspicious.
So, I'm curious...what's this PED that everyone is taking and not getting caught?? This isn't the same as BALCO days w/ the cream/clear. When they were around, ALL sports where getting records broken. So what's the miracle drug? Or is it they've all become masters at cycling through their system to not leave a trace when tested??
I don't buy this at all. Punch resistance is natural. That's why you have guys like Brandon Rios, Leo Santa Cruz, Danny Garcia, and Mikey Garcia who are flabby, yet supremly durable. And then you have extreme bodybuilder types like Joshua and RJJ who are chinny.
Pain threshold and punch resistance are not correlated. Now, if your talking in terms of toughing it out and not quiting, beig able to endure the pain longer. I never heard of PED's having that ability. I got knockout and didn't feel a thing. Not a single mineral of PED in my system. On a side note. When hanging a single rope tree swing, make sure the damn thing is far enough away from the tree trunk so the swinger will not collide into the trunk.
Pacquiao was a 122lber who went up against bigger legends at 126 and 130 chasing greatness. Margarito was even more huge but he was too slow and not an ATG like the others so he barely laid a glove on Pac.
That's the argument Floyd made when he accused Pac of being on PEDs. Pac also had a massive physique transformation. As Floyd said in that famous interview, Pacquiao went from "ordinary to extraordinary". This is the basis for why Floyd refused to fight him because he believed it was obvious that Pac was on something.
The guy you replied to is wrong-although you did not address that. That philosophy that justifies cheating is illogical, dishonorable, & just plain wrong. Many do not chat. Those that do so successfully are more or less This content is protected . Stealing the success, money, fame & dreams of those who do not snivel around & lie & cheat. Anyway what he said-I will adjust it to say it is borderline idiotic to think nobody cheats. And also to believe they catch everyone who cheats. And it is borderline idiotic to assume that because of corruption & profit, that somehow proves that nobody has any honor. Nobody is afraid of being caught or the hit to their reputation. Nobody worries about the side effect of junk. Nobody has a game plan/style where they do not think PEDs may help. Many cheat, many do not, nobody has any good evidence of what the numbers are. You might as well name people who are over or under 6', as if individual examples can ever prove a statistical case. Either way, it is immoral & damaging to sportsmanship & the public trust. It is another reason why so many have reflexive contempt for athletes, when we have too much cynicism in society already.
@Bustajay it's been a minute, but the scientists are coming out to play. I wonder if Pacquaio's head got bigger from clen, or from SARMS Or was it the A-Side meth, or the HGH. God damn it, I wish I knew more about steroids. If only I hadn't blocked shadow...
These remarks are laughable and you can tell few here have ever completed a cycle of anything worth a szhit
