this exactly, watch floyd-judah. Thats how they should have act. But if you're getting maybe more than $2.5 million then you can't help but laugh and smile.
All of it. It wasn't just one thing but a collection of multiple weird occurrences. As for the motive for Ortiz and Floyd. Maybe it was the only way for Ortiz to get the fight. It's his career high payday, and maybe Floyd will end up giving him a little more. Motive is the hardest to pin. Ortiz basically has to be an absolute idiot to go through with it. But maybe he wanted the fight and doesn't really care about boxing. I don't know. Floyd obviously has the most to gain from it. I could be wrong, could be over-analyzing. Either way, total black eye on the sport. Here's the thing. I guarantee Floyd never fights Pac. I bet he retires again and doesn't come back for a long long time if he ever comes back this time.
You're a **** poster. Sorry if I call you out on your nonsense. You can call me out on whatever you like. You're just here to bull**** as the anti-troll. We get it, just stay out of my way if you don't want to get swatted at.
Floyd gave the motive (if it indeed was a fix) in the interview when he offered Ortiz the rematch. That's when it went from being a collection of odd events to showing enough signs of potentially being something more insidious in my eyes. If there's an Ortiz rematch, that means there is no Pacquiao fight and no Martinez fight. And by having the fight end in a controversial fashion, it makes the rematch more marketable than if it'd reached its natural conclusion of a late Mayweather ko/points win. We'll know for sure based on what happens next. If an Ortiz rematch happens, that would really make me think this was fixed because I didn't see enough out of Ortiz to otherwise justify one. If not, I'll consider it just a crazy night of boxing.
If you're actually serious, it's a bit :fight for me and I don't have any interest in it. I'm surprised you're making it personal though. I didn't think you were the type. :huh
Good analogy. A tree doesn't have eyes so it can't see that axe coming. Ortiz wasn't looking at that honorable Floyd combo either. :yep
Agree. If this happened in the old days when fighters didn't make millions it would be an obviously rigged fight. Nowadays it's hard to fathom a fighter getting paid 2.5mm doing this but it was the most bizarre fight since Tyson's ear snack.
One thing is sure: Mayweather doesn't have any sportsmanship at all. This was a match between two bums. #1 p4p my ass!! It's unbelievable that now Floyd fans are bragging about this "KO" Hahaha!
