just posting this cos i read walhberg is planning on making the fighter 2 about the gatti fights, and i was like wow everyone must be so excited. and all these insanely ignorant people making comments like 'oh no way, there's nothing more to make a movie about', such stupid ****s who dont know **** about boxing. i just wanted to vent my anger. :twisted: all done
Yep, I also worry about trying to recreate such an epic trilogy on the big screen. It would be difficult to do it justice.
The fighter film was a bit overrated, watched it once and forgot about it. Maybe because as a boxing fan i was more interested in them showing the gatti fights that was the reason why micky was loved all over the world. But they never did show it.
+1 The sequal is obviously a stupid idea... but those Hollywood whores will jump on anything that has a little sucess and milk it to death. :verysad
nothing to do with hollywood, wahlberg pushed the whole film through and wasnt even paid. and how the hell could any film about the trilogy be not watchable?
