The fighter in my avatar owns Margo.

I was just starting to come around to Mayweather after reading all of the idiotic "if Calzaghe was an American" posts. Please keep these Margarito/Mayweather flames to a minimum so I can continue on my quest to be a Mayweather fan.

Jesus fukin Christ!....Floyd's "entire game" is to avoid fighting people all together,...hide behind 'business decisions' and blatantly state 'were not fighting to prove who the best is'. Margo,(and Cotto and Williams) would happilly give Floyd the chance to outclass him tomorrow.Box wrapped with a bow. Floyd would run a mile. Dont even dream of trying that cheeky BS with us.

I think Floyd would probably win. I don't see him going to the ropes much though. If he tried, Margo would rain punches on him. Margarito isn't stupid, so if he was mindful of range, I don't think Floyd could counter off the ropes effectively.

Floyd's best chance is to lead Margo around the ring, like with Corrales.

 

Floyd WILL be back. Don't be surprised to see him call out the winner of DLH/PAC. If Margarito can make a name for himself then Mayweather may consider that as well.

Well, Mayweather did own Margarito in one regard: he turned down that big offer in '06, earned the same amount of money anyway, and made Margarito earn less to lose his belt to Williams.

Margarito has since rebounded and become bigger than ever, so let's settle it in the ring.

 

Well, I think the avatar is cool. I think people should get over Mayweather not fighting who we wanted him to fight. It's over, he retired, Margo moved on, Cotto moved on, Mosely moved on, even Oscar moved on... Mayweather was a great fighter, and hating on a fact like that doesn't make you look any better than his nut-huggers.
