I thought that Stevie Bell may have old manned Simpson out of there on Saturday, I was impressed with how easy he made it look...

cheers mate,i knew bellow was in top condition and super fit when i seen him on the scales,steve said simpson was technically better than he imagined and very strong.i wish my mate steve all the best in the future.

I thought it was strange, but 8 months out of the ring at his age is quite a while

Brilliant set of fighters and a good, dedicated trainer. Simpson and Burns recent success has to be put down to their training!!! Burns will beat Martinez next year- i'm positive. Simpson will beat Lindsey and maybe Willie Limmond will get a title shot.

 

I don't rate him at all. He's strong as **** but his boxing skill is terrible (sic). Simpson should have been in a different class. I heard he did very well when sparring with Burns before the Gomez fight- from what i've seen he must be a gym fighter. He's only young though but has much improving to do if he is ever to be more then domestic level.

 

What struck me most in both the Simpson and Lindsay fights is that when the lad is put under pressure he doesn't seem to be able to implement plan B and his boxing goes to pieces...he got away with it by the skin of his teeth against Simpson, but not Lindsay.

 

Simpson would demolish him now.

 

And lindsay!

There is no way such a young promising boxer should have retired already!! Problem with appleby is he's too eager to get in a war and gets caught too often... he's got fast as **** hands and when he sticks to his boxing he's different class. Decent trainer and he would hopefully fulfill his potential

tbh he reminded me of Khan first time I saw him :deal

 

Lindsay has already beaten Appleby :huh. I think that Lindsay will beat old Misery Guts (Simpson)
