Breaks his hand on Agbeko's face, reverts to Runaire, wins 116-112. Silence would be quieted in less than six.
What is this "Silence Mabuza/Agbeko" bull****? Why are you lumping them together, just because they're from the continent of Africa (and not even the same country)? What kind of racist bull**** is that? Their styles aren't similar at all.
Doubtful. Silence was fairly competitive with prime Rafael Marquez, and just recently held his own against Perez (as did Agbeko).
I must have watched two different fights than you did. From what I recall, Marquez blew him out pretty bad. And also, I like Perez, but I think The Flash is leagues better. He reminds me of a lesser hitting, smaller Randall Bailey.
He fought Marquez twice, and got stopped both times, but only after putting up a hell of a fight. He gave as game an effort against a prime bantamweight Rafa as you could ask of anyone. Was the one you saw on the undercard of JMM-Jandaeng, in an outdoor ring? That was the rematch, in which he did better. It was a spectacular performance by Marquez, but not a blowout. Spice was in it all the way to the end.
That Jandaeng fight was super awesome. JMM won me over that night. I remember Rafa holding it down all fight, kinda got bored with what I think was more one-sided than anything. Was a good while back though, I'd have to dig that one up to review again.
Mabuza's effort was even braver and gamer than Terdsak's. It was a night for both brothers to shine - and they did, but the underdogs were very impressive in their losses.
After all the R by R of yours I've read and participated in, I trust your judgement. I'll definitely watch both fights again because like I said, its been ages.
