He is an average fighter at best. Gift decisions do not = P4p elite.

Taylor is a top 15 pound for pound guy.

You dont go 36 even rounds with Hopkins and Winky and not be a top pound for pounder.

He was given "gift decisions", if thats what you want to call them, against pound for pound guys.

Pavlik wins again tonight by KO

    Pavik KO8 Taylor.

Taylor is top 15 ONLY due to those gift decisions. A gift decision is a gift decision.

Anyway, we are in agreement. Nothing will stop his brutal KO tonight.

We agree about the KO for tonight, but Taylor is top 15 pfp because he fought close fights with Hopkins and Winky, no matter who won.

Taylor was a douchbag at the weigh-in. Kelly is going to send him back to Little Rock, unconscious.

    I'm officially picking Pavlik by stoppage. However, Jermaine did a lot better in the first fight than people are giving him credit for. There are 3 things he needs to do better in this fight in order to win;

    1.Clinch effectively
    2.Work the body
    3.Stay relaxed

If Taylor can do these three things effectively, he'll win. However, I don't think he will which is why I think he gets stopped again.

Taylor is an average fighter at best?? :huh

Pavlik must be pretty **** too then, seeing as he was on rubber legs for an entire round against Taylor first time out.

I don't know who's going to win tonight but I don't think either of these guys are average fighters.

Post-fight interview; Jermaine, is he the biggest puncher you've faced? Jermaine, " Yeh, he's a pretty good puncher", "Who are you?"

    good post!

true i think pavlik and taylor are very evenly matched. thats why their first fight was so good.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if taylor won this rematch...and it setup one of the biggest trilogies in recent boxing history.
