 What a surprise. Marquez climbs to welterweight at 39 after having been in more wars and knocks Pacquiao out after Manny looks the best he has in years for the first five rounds, scoring the most emphatic win of them all, and MAG claims Pacquiao is not prime, making him the winnr of the rivalry. :patsch You can't seriously think the 3rd fight was a win for Manny, can you? Or are you one of those that think Pacquiao was only prime for 3 years?

Pac is my favourite fighter of all time.

But, 2 razor thin wins < 1 brutal knockout

  5. Can't get any more definitive than a brutal KO. Going into the 4th fight I would have said Manny was slightly ahead in the rivalry because of the 4 knockdowns in their previous 3 fights (I realize this was a controversial opinion)... Pacquiao now has some serious catching up to do.

The argument can be made that Juan won 3 of 4.. If you say he only won one of the prior 3 and count the KO he wins either way.

The only legitimate one you can say Manny won was the first one,and that is by a thread only cause he got the 3 knockdowns..

I am a Pac fan, I had him winning the first fight, losing the second and drawing the third. So the 4th fight puts Marquez ahead.

The fourth fight was close. Both were dropped, Pac seemed to have hurt Marquez who was looking a little distressed in the last round.

They could fight a dozen more times and it would always be competitive, even if one stops the other. It's amazing even after 4 fights there is little to pick between the 2 of them.
