Well he actually lost to Lennox in real life and Ali in this tournament - which would also happen in real life

Why do people always refer to Lewis in the Klitschko fight as being an ungodly tub of cholesterol?

By the looks of his muscle definition in the fight, I'd say hew was in top notch shape and ready to fight.

Not trying to turn this onto a T.K.O. 6 thread, but didn't Vitali take this fight on very short notice?

Yes Ali's skill level was higher...

The weird loopy punches he was known for throwing, unorthodox stance he fought out of, and the legendary defensive technique of blocking punches with your face (the Joe Frazier fight was so apt in demonstrating his impeccable defensive prowess) were all exemplary of a technically superior adversary...

lol people are so stupid. Ali was fast, light footed, with a really good chin.

Since it is your wish to extrapolate Ali's victorious trends through 60's and 70's unto a more modern setting, with more robust training regimens, just be prepared to do the same in regards to George Foreman for when he fought Ali. Would Ali have been so successful in his bout with big George if George knew how to properly train and prepare? :think

Looks like Lewis started to make a little bit of a rally, but not for long.

It's sad so many people are so incredibly out of touch with reality. LL would absolutely brutalize Ali, as well as, in a majority of fights, any other HW who ever lived (with the possible exception of Vitali). Progress HAPPENS, people. Only in the minds of deluded boxing "fans" do people think that their sport is some special flower untouched by the laws of progress, while every single sport with quantitative results has indisputably progressed by leaps and bounds since Ali's time. This matchup would be especially bad for Ali. He relied on outsizing his opponents, utilizing his steel chin and great reflexes. LL wouldn't need to put him out (though he probably would), he'd just jab his way to victory. Ali couldn't bull him around, because LL's much taller and heavier. He couldn't avoid and sting him, because LL's got much better height, reach, and is a technically better boxer. And he lacks the power to ko LL. In short, all the tricks Ali used to get his wins, and all the things that LL was vulnerable to, are not in play here. 120-108 LL or LL by late TKO.

Ha! Little boy Loudon! I missed owning you. Only in the mind of someone as stupid as you would you think being consistently dominated in arguments qualifies as "owning". Let me paraphrase our debates:
    Loudon: The world is flat
Me: No its round. This can be proved by advanced mathematics, deduction as per observation of other astronomical entities, and actual spacebased observations
Loudon: Ha ha, your stupid. Its flat, everyone knows it. Go away, I'm tired of owning you.
Me: (signs, pats Loudon on head), sure, sure.

You mean, awaiting logic? Forget it, little boy, you've shown you're immune.

    Logic?

    Ha!

I might bump the old threads so we can all have a laugh.

Boxing progresses every year right, and the fighters become better as each decade goes by?

Yes, logic, that nasty thing your brain is incapable of utilizing. Don't worry, I bumped all of them a while back. I'll keep bumping them from time to time, to speed the detox process for people, unlike yourself, who actually have the ability to reason and think intelligently.

    Right.

Basically, swimming records have been broken, and track and field records have been broken.

Other sports have progressed each decade.

So logic tells you that boxing must also have progressed in the same way?

Usain Bolt is the fastest man ever, so that means today's fighters are the best ever?

If you knew anything about boxing, and anything about logic, you'd know that you can't compare boxing with ANY other sports.

    You're a complete joker.

Today's best fighters aren't any better than the best fighters of the 80's and 90's. Go through each weight class. Which blows your ******ed theory straight out of the water.

A peak Muhammad Ali at 25, would have caused Lennox Lewis a variety of problems.

    Loudon: 2 plus 2 equals 5.
Me: No, think of it this way, 2 equals 1 plus 1, 2 of those is 4. It's logic.
Loudon: Ha ha, your stupid. Everyone knows 2 plus 2 is 5.

Loudon, there are many different quantifiable sports. They are all as different from each other as they are from boxing. None of them has a record pre 80s. Do the math. Oh, wait! That's right, you're too absurdly braindead to do math! Give it up little boy, this is a big boy argument.
