The Finest Unblemished Record Calzaghe Or Marciano?

    Marciano he's a legend, a royalty in boxing. Calzaghe will be in hof. To put it in perspective who will talk about Calzaghe in 50 years, and outside of boxing who will remember him?

    Calzaghe's title run is comparable to Marciano's worst defense and probably one of his poorest performance against Cockell. Who was the English champ. And that's the type of caliber Calzaghe generally fought. Guys within his own domain.

    I don't think Calzaghe gets as much credit as he deserves, but I picked Rocky...mostly for historic reasons.

    Don't only consider the unbeaten records, but the nature of the victories. Marciano's was considerably more exciting.Coming from behind , nose split in half, one punch knockouts, guys out cold, people flying out of the ring, faces mishapen and contorted. To be fair, Joe had hand problems. It seemed anything would give way before Rocky's fists did.
