Couldn't watch the 1st fight because I was literally asleep. Glad I woke up for the next 2 though because they were decent. I enjoyed the main event. Always fun to see a hype machine get knocked out.

I actually enjoyed the first fight. Miguel Vazquez has no power and no speed but he dose so many little things that are hard to notice that make him a very skilled fighter.
That said he is not a TV friendly fighter.

because they don't know how to match fights like Showtime does.

Showtime is miles ahead of HBO right now.

None of the fights was bad IMO. The first one had a nice contrast in styles. The second was a slugfest and the main event was action packed. Decent night of fights in my opinion.

Honestly, he has a point. With all the great, competitive fights that can be made with HBO's budget and clout, it was really a low point for a Boxing After Dark telecast. The first two fights had literally no intrigue or drama about them, the crowd was ****ing terrible and only contributed the lackluster atmosphere.

I fell to sleep halfway through the first fight, and woke up to see Abregu knock a ***** out. So that was fun. I kinda agree though, all in all it was a pretty lacklustre night, the crowd seemed dead.

First two fights were awful. Like someone said above, it's fun watching a hype-job get knocked out.
