papers all over the philippines were all very proud in saying that pac was the very first asian 3-division champ. theres not exactly enough reason to be proud of, imo

if you include the ring title @126, then pac is actually a 4-division champ.

right. and hes also a two time linear champ: @112 and @126. and also a ring titleholder at 130.

the wbc belt at 130 is meaningless

that would be another meaningless title. what would make him a real maccoy at 135 is a win against baby bull, casa or campbell

what i mean about this thread was the racial undertone in it:

    first asian 3-div champ.

as if asians were no good in boxing.

and technically, filipinos were asians. the archipelago is in southeast asia, china sea, above the equator, beneath taiwan and above indonesia. go check the map.

lineal, if you recognize the difference, until the marquez rematch. but he ceased to be one until he fights again and beats marquez convincinly, at 130 of course

it doesnt matter, its still a win over the man in the division, even if he were to win more convincingly people will still not crown unless he were to beat Guzman & Valero

it does matter of course. hes the linear champ and he just failed miserably to validate his kingship with that slopy win. a win over guzman or valero doesnt count. they are not even top 20 p4p
