Doesn't work like that. JMM was lineal due to beating MAB who got it from defeating Morales. Pacquiao beat him so he is the champion. If we removed titles from everyone who didn't win convincingly, there would be no champions lol. That's ridiculous. SD count in the books the same as anything else. A win is a win, valued the same across the board when it comes to titles.

    He is the 112, 126, 130 Lineal champion. It's a great accomplishment.

One of the few three-division lineal Champs in history.

He was, in theory, Lineal Champion at Flyweight. Then he was Champ at 126 and now he is Champ at 130. Only problem is that he has not defended any title for a long time.

Anyway, he is one of the few three-division lineal Champs in history, like Fitzsimmons, Canzoneri, Ross, Leonard, Griffith, De la Hoya, Mayweather.

nah dude. a lineal champ is the man who beat the man who beat the man. a lineal champ is percieved to be the king of the division. he must therefore win convincingly in every fight to validate his kingship. a questionable win against a widely considered lighter opponent is a taint to his image of being a king. how can he considered to be king when a great majority believes he actually lost in a fight?

Thats stupid. Taylor didnt beat Hopkins convincingly but he sure as hell was still the MW champion after beating him. If the judges deemed pac had that edge, then maybe he owns the kingship and it is JMM who has to win convincingly to validate his own kingship, not Pacman.

this is stupid. you cant be considered king when a vast majority believes you actually lost in a fight. though i scored the fight 114-113 for pac, he failed, in my view, to validate his kingship. and to think that pac is a majority favorite to win... man, he has to win at least a majority decision to validate his kingship, imo
