Hector "macho" Camacho vs Edwin "Chapo" Rosario R.I.P. that was my first i think, but i can't recall it that well, all i remember was that my father loved boxing and he "explained" me that the best fighters were Duran, Hagler and Gomez. but now i understand. Then i began to watch fights of a guy called " MikeTyson" and from there on i was "hook on" with boxing ...Later Trinidad make some of my proudest nighs as a Rican. Until today were i basically watch all the fights on HBO, Showtime, Espn or wherever:bbb your first Boxing fight was......?
i was a lil boy but i remember the black mamba vs JC superstar II. I watched it with my dad must have been 5
I think the first fight i ever saw was Roy Jones vs. Virgil HIll wen i was a kid watching with my dad. I had stopped watching because we no longer had hbo or showtime but wen we got it again the first fight i watched was the Corrales vs. Castillo first fight. That fight right there got me hardcore bak into boxing.
I was a kid but it was Hagler vs Leonard. We had just gotten cable. My parents went out that night and I was left alone with a big bag of sunflower seeds. :good
holyfield bowe 1 been hooked ever since. did'nt realize a man could dish out and take so much. Both guys gave the fight of their life and it just happened to be the first ppv I ever watched.
I'm sure I'd "seen" others before but I fell in love with boxing when my dad took me to see Leonard v. Hagler on closed circuit. I remember going to school (4th grade) the next day with my boxing robe and my boxing gloves on. My name is Ray and everybody in my family called me Sugar Ray. I'll never forget that fight and how it shaped my life.
I watched Jorge "el maromero" Paez live once in my hometown Torreon, Coahuila. Everybody loved him because of his acts inside and outside the ring. I forget who he was fighting but i believe that was my introduction to boxing then after that we would watch it off and on with my parents and their friends.
