When I was very young I saw a bunch of early Tyson fights. But the first first that I have a clear memory of was Tyson v Douglass. I was only 9 and a half years old.
trinidad-hopkins. i didn't know the fighters but i know the significance being that my father was so upset with the result
First fight I remember sitting down and watching live was Ricky Hatton vs. Michael Stewart. His last fight that was free on Sky. I've watched other fights before that, but I can't really remember which ones. I remember Naseem Hamed, Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson.
Luisito Espinosa verses Manuel Medina. Was a wee lad back then. Was watching while my dad was downing a San Miguel.
think it was hagler - leonard . the first one i remember being very involved emotionally was big frank v tim witherspoon. so near but so far frank, again .
eubank-benn II wit my grandad looking back on it i did see a bit of the destruction of bruno agaisnt mike tyson
I don't recall, but I'm sure it was a Joey Gamache fight. He used to live in the same building as a friend of my family, so we would go over all the time and I'd play out from with his nephew. I remember he always had a large bowl of Tootsie Pops. Anyway we would go to all of his fights here in Lewiston. I was pretty young, so I don't remember much.
JCC vs Mario "Asabache(?)" Martinez. Been following the "Lion from Culiacan" ever since. P.S. JCC Jr. sucks!!
