    Lewis v Holyfield 1
My memory is shot, but this one really stung. So much so that I've never really trusted big time boxing score cards in America since.

I remember watching Roger Mayweather “lose” to Tony Balthazar. That was a somewhat uneventful fight, but the decision was absolutely BS. It would have taken a very blind man to give Balthazar more than couple of rounds. Aggressive but completely ineffective. No idea wtf went on there. Funny I still remember this one almost 40 years later

I do remember an old ishe smith fight. He was taking on golden child Danny Jacobs. He was just there as a stern test as Danny stepped up in class, to go rounds, get experience. I remember being obsessed by the defence and ring generalship of ishe, not the offence of a Daniel Jacobs. When the scores were announced ishe smith had a long look in the face like "yea they just jobbed me another one for the A-side they had to protect." I remember Fernando Vargas hyping up this kid ishe when he used him for sparring during preparation to the de la Hoya fight. Like Vargas said:"ishe smith is no joke." Then years later I heard ishe on his platform saying he was standing next to the sink with a gun to his head, because of all the losses in his career. He was a defensive cutie, very emotional as well. I strongly remember that he DID become a world champion. Was a helluva fighter on the contender too.

Oh I agree about Rosario-Ramirez I and Gomez-Lockridge! After watching the latter on You Tube, I had it 145-140 for Lockridge.

Listening on the radio was different on the day of the bout because I only had the narrator's point of view and even then I only had Gomez by one point, 143-142. But, originally, I didn't consider it a robbery.

    Ali-Berbick.

A Masters Class ruined by inept judging, causing the premature end to a great career. Oh, the things Ali could have done in the ripe 80's. So many more belts, so many successful defenses. We were robbed of those special moments.

I watched that in Baby Dolls strip joint in Texas . the crowd was pretty even for both fighters Then came that draw decision the place erupted in booing. The dancers stopped dancing. Evander's face was a picture even he thought he really lost. Lennox looked disbelievingly at the camera. A cute dancer said Aww he looks so sad I wish he was here I'd give him a special lap dance lol
