Rather than a new era in Big Time Boxing , the first two shows have been a bit of a let down. Firstly Bellew Miranda, Purdy in an intercontinental with Barker pulling out then Frampton Molitior, McCloskey in an intercontinental ( I actually slept through most of that one ) with Selby pulling out.I know pull outs can't be helped but this always seemed to be more of a problem on FW shows rather than Matchroom. Next it's another bleeding Prizefighter with an English title fight as support. It's no better than we were getting last year but with double the number of shows. I'm starting to pine for a Maloney show in a sports centre.

Hard to disagree with what you put. Hearn said that there would have been five title fights last night, we woud have ended up three even if selby had fought.

He was talking about the London card would have 5 title fights on it, it had 4.

They've been solid...such a shame Selby pulled out, Lindsay was in fantastic shape and it would have made the card much more interesting.

Frampton/Molitor wasn't exactly competitive, but It was good to see a young prospect taking a veteran apart.

Mccloskey should just die, but I don't think the fight was boring at all.

Lindsay had a good little scrap with the French lad.

    Overall it was fairly enjoyable.

The London card was good IMO.

    Bellew/Miranda was quite disappointing.

Purdy/Carrasco was a quality tear up while it lasted.

Ochieng/Toms wasn't bad, good finish with the body shots.

Evangelou/Connor was a good fight also.

Those two cards had six good fights announced. Sadly, two didn't happen but if Selby and Barker had gone through with their fights, both cards would have been great. These things are to be expected in boxing though, so whilst it's not ideal, I can't fault Matchroom because they at least booked two impressive cards.

On these two shows, when there's been a knockdown why has the guy on the microphone not been counting like usual? The ref is not miked up so you have no idea what number he gets to?

This, solid cards which would of been better without the pullouts.I`m not missing Maloneys leisure centre shows at all. There will be great shows and **** shows so far we have had 2 good shows and i do like the fact that the shows are 3 hours long now.The old FFN format we only had 1 live fight per show now we get 3.

If you look at the card last night, there was no one-sided mismatches on the whole card, all fights were competitive. As already pointed out, there were two late enforced changes to the first two cards, but they were still two solid cards. Good start from Matchroom.

i prefer it how it is now. 2 main event fights. the pull outs have been unfortunate.

All of the 5 live fights so far were good 50-50 match ups before hand. nobody predicted Frampton to blitz Molitor like that.

They've been really good, exciting fights + showing 2 live undercard fights! Brook bill will be good as well with Anderson V Reid :)

They have been very good shows so far, but the big worry is how they fill up their slots.

Whats the chances of Barker fight and Lindsey v Selby on a card before Xmas would be a decent 2 fights to have you never know they could have Frampton on aswell with Bellew somewhere. 4 decent fights with there 4 stars would be a nice end to the year. Even get Barker v Lee would be a great fight to get on the card or a Barker v Murray fight.
