That's the spirit fella :thumbsup I must have watched that GP about 10 times and only made it all the way through Saku v Royce twice But it is epic, and needs to be seen atleast once
Thinking about it, I doubt a noob would care about the history to sit through a 90 minute fight, same with Fedor-Cro Cop, if you don't know the hype that was going into those fights then it doesn't have the same feeling. Everyone likes a slugfest so maybe Gomi-Diaz or Manhoef-Cyborg instead.
Hard to believe either one of them came out for the second. Was great to see them embrace at the end of the fight. Thats the beauty of combat sports two "fighters" giving there all and walking away with each others respect.
The true Bushido spirit defined in 10 minutes of non stop action. It was almost too painful to watch at times
Not to often are you just glad to hear the bell in a fight. Thought the ref should of jumped in and stopped it. It was just getting brutally hard to watch.
Yeah I was disappointed in the Ref, even though I was enjoying every minute. You've got the dilemma of entertainment v the fighters long term health in this one It's a miracle they walked out of the arena in one piece after that display. I thought they'd get carried out by the crowd, I guess they were just in awe, which would explain the silence
I haven't seen that Stoo will give it a watch no way is it worse than that other fight. If it is I probably won't return to the forum
After watching the first of three videos I think this is one fight between two MMA Pioneers that should be locked away or burnt.
